PORT DOVER

Port Dover is an unincorporated community and former town located on the north shore of Lake Erie. Prior to the War of 1812, this community was known as Dover Mills. This community is the southern terminus for Ontario Highway 6 that stretches northward as a two-lane, undivided highway until the traffic flow increases to four lanes shortly after it departs from Caledonia. In addition to allowing Port Dover residents direct access to the city of Hamilton, it also briefly merges with Highway 403 to allow for access to Burlington and Toronto. Port Dover is also home to famous "Friday the 13th" festivties.



SIMCOE

Simcoe is an unincorporated community and former town in Southwestern, Ontario. It is the county seat and largest community of Norfolk County. Simcoe is at the junction of Highway 3, at Highway 24, due south of Brantford and accessible to Hamilton by nearby Highway 6.



WATERFORD
(POP. 3132)

Waterford is home to tree-lined streets, stately heritage homes, friendly shops, restaurants, business and industry. Norfolk FS (formerly known as the Norfolk Co-Operative) also holds a major base of operations here, which provide chemicals and most agriculture-related goods including tobacco, corn and tomatoes, in addition to animal feed for local farmers. Waterford is also home to Pumpkinfest which happens annually in mid-October.



DELHI

Delhi boasts a diverse ethnic makeup, bringing many cultures and heritages together to strengthen the community. It is also known as "The Heart of Tobacco Country." Also home to the beautifully restored theatre known as the "Backstage Capitol," it hosts music and other entertainment on an ongoing basis. German, Hungarian, Belgian and Polish halls throughout the town reflect Delhi's European heritage and often feature special events throughout the year.
Annual events include the Strawberry Festival, Le Tour de Norfolk and Harvest Festival. Overall, Delhi combines a charmingly rural environment with an exceptionally favourable location.



PORT ROWAN

Port Rowan has long serviced the needs of surrounding areas with numerous stores and businesses. Marinas and trailer parks in the area offer everything from birding, boating, fishing, sailing and camping to winter ice fishing. Numerous accommodations are also available for visitors coming into town. For sun bathers, Long Point is only a few minutes away. Port Rowan has seen a growing retirement population over the last few years
