Moving from your home can be a difficult adjustment for Seniors of any age, even if they feel ready. We’ve had the honour of helping many seniors move from their home, including friends’ parents houses where we hung out during high school (now there’s a blast from the past!). Living in Port Dover, well all of Norfolk County really, we’ve found that retirees and empty nester’s have enjoyed the slower pace our little corner of the world has to offer and as a result, have relocated here from further away. Often their families are living at a distance and lean on us to support their loved ones through this transition. In our office we take our responsibility to guide older adults seriously and Melissa, Keith and Shannon have all taken a course specializing in working with Seniors in Real Estate (Pivotal ASA - Accredited Senior Agent).
