Meet Daniel Kneblewski, a professional civil engineer and passionate beekeeper with a wealth of tutoring and teaching experience. Daniel’s fascination with beekeeping began in 2012, and after studying bee biology in 2018, he became an urban beekeeper in 2019. Under the mentorship of a master beekeeper over the last three years, Daniel has grown his hobby from a single hive in his Oakville backyard to over 18 thriving hives on his new hobby farm in Waterdown. Daniel has a strong passion for beekeeping and believes anyone can take on this wonderful hobby. Be ready to expand your knowledge in the wonderful world of beekeeping. If you're ready to learn and wondering on how to start beekeeping, what are the costs and is it right for you, then this is the workshop for you!

Our camp is centered around the theme of healthy bodies and minds. We use yoga, meditation, art, music, drama, games and outdoor activities to learn about a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Celebrate the New Year at the museum! On January 1st, bring your fiddle or other instrument and join in the fun or simply sit back and enjoy the tunes and company. Doors will open at 1:00 pm and the levee starts after the Polar Bear Dip! We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank. New this year Used book sale upstairs!

Remember, this is the perfect time to renew your membership for 2025 and support your museum!
