Registration will be organized into 30-minute blocks, with visit times available between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Lansdowne infants, children, and youth clients and their families are invited to sign up to attend. This year's event will include an opportunity to get a photo with Santa, and other popular characters! Kids will also have opportunity to take part in fun activities at Lansdowne Simcoe! With an abundance of care and caution for staff and client allergies, we will not be serving food at this event.

Join us for a festive day exploring beautifully decorated new and historical homes in Norfolk County. This year's event takes us to Port Rowan, Walsingham, and Long Point. Running both Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm, enjoy a self guided tour at your own pace, starting at the home of your choice.

Join us for a separate ticketed event at 2:30pm on either Saturday or Sunday, Rum Running on Lake Erie - Blind Pigs and Midnight Herring. Former curator of the Port Dover Harbour Museum Ian Bell will present his entertaining tales on rum running on the great lakes during prohibition. Enjoy the tales, collection of vintage images, and maybe a bit of song!

A quaint, traditional European-style Christmas market is a magical experience that fills the air with the warmth of the holiday season. As you walk through the market, you’ll be surrounded by the sights, scents and sounds of Christmas, with vendors selling handmade goods, delicious food, and warm drinks.

The market will be adorned with twinkling lights and festive decorations, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. You’ll see winter workshops, horse drawn carriage rides, live music and Santa Claus, alongside vendors selling handmade ornaments, candles, and other holiday-themed gifts.

In the centre of the market, you’ll find firepits and cozy seating where you can warm your hands and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, mulled wine or spiked spiced cider. The market will be bustling with families and friends, and the sound of carollers will fill the air. It’s a perfect place to spend a chilly winter evening, surrounded by the warmth of the holiday season and the joy of community.

The Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show is an impressive agriculture-based fair with a long-standing tradition of celebrating agriculture, horsemanship, and community. The Saturday four-horse hitch class will be the first Ontario Four qualifier of the 2025 season.

Are you wanting to learn how to make a successful sourdough loaf? Or have you tried and are having trouble mastering it? Join Autumn in her Intro to Sourdough class. She will go over how to culture and nurture your own starter and explore the fundamentals of sourdough bread-making including mixing, kneading, shaping and fermentation methods.

*Please note: Some simple sourdough demonstrations will be shown but this will be a watch only class!

Featuring what is grown or produced here in Norfolk County, Ontario's Garden.
As we move through the seasons Chef Sarah Bertling will be serving up an authentic local meal.
The Cider Keg Farm Market owners will share with you some of the background of the farm and why we started the farm market. We will take a walk through the Farm Market and collect the ingredients for our meal as well as the garden if applicable to that meal that day.
The experience will last approximately 2 hours, dinner is a four course meal and is served outdoors on our front porch. Each course will be paired with a local wine or beer which is included with the meal.

It’s getting closer and closer to being that time of the year again, Austin’s pumpkin patch will be open as of Sept 13th with a Grand Opening on the weekend of Sept 28th. The hours will remain the same as the Farm market: 9am to 6pm, 7 days a week.

The Norfolk County Quilters' Guild will meet on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vittoria Community Centre in Vittoria. 

This month our guest speaker will chat about her journey with quilts from Traditional to Modern. 

We are a non-profit group that promotes the art and craftsmanship associated with quilting, patchwork and fibre arts.

We provide educational opportunities, have guest speakers, workshops, learn from each other, and socialize with each other.
