Participants must register in advance as there is only limited space available. Message them today by visiting their Facebook page, click HERE for more details about any Art with Heart programs!
You still have time to sign up your budding performers for the next season of Drama Kidz! Our daughter really enjoyed her first production, the Joy of Giving, which was written by Nikki and inspired by the actors so it's a very inclusive experience. Great for all ages and talent levels!
Port Dover Harbour Museum
Special mention to our Port Dover Harbour Museum. In speaking to Angela about what may be happening at the Museum over the holidays she reminded me of the New Year's Day Levee, you can see that video HERE.
Hot off the Press: "But even more exciting, the Port Dover Harbour Museum is happy to announce that our Collections Storage Reorganization project is taking place in January of 2018. We have ordered new storage furniture to better house their collections, so that Port Dover’s history will be preserved for generations. Components of this project have been taking place over the last 3 years, as museum staff and volunteers have been continuously working with the archival and artifact collections. Thus far, the most significant aspect has been the cataloguing of archival photographs, and moving those into museum quality storage albums.
The next phase is the installation of more appropriate storage units for our collections. To facilitate this process the museum will be closed to the public from January 2nd to Monday, January 22nd. We would like to express our gratitude to Norfolk County, the Port Dover Community Foundation, the Vittoria & District Foundation and the Audrey S. Hellyer Foundation for their support of this project! This project has also been made possible through a grant from the Government of Canada through the Department of Canadian Heritage, via the Museums Assistance Program.
Our sincerest thanks to all of our members and supporters who have donated to the project and to our volunteers who have donated countless hours to help make this project a reality.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause."

Be sure to check out the swim guidelines HERE to make sure you have the right number of supervisors for your kids (page 63 in the Guide) - when ours were really little I wasn't able to have all 3 at once as the only adult.

Whitehorse Bowling is open daily from 11 am and has not only blacklight bowling (gutter guards available!) but also a glow in the dark mini putt and a super fun arcade! The Simcoe Panorama
The Simcoe Panorama is a special rite of passage here in Norfolk. I remember spending many Christmas Eve's visiting the lights with my family, trudging through the snow and drinking hot chocolate after with cold runny noses and happy hearts. It runs from Nov. 25th until Dec. 31st and it brightly lit from 5:30-11:00 pm. If you need more info because maybe this will be your first visit, you can visit their website HERE, I've highlighted the schedule in the link but there is so much more info. A HUGE thank you to all of those who volunteer countless hours and donate to keep this tradition alive and well!
