Cody James Wood is a singer-songwriter originally from a small community in Norfolk County, Ontario. Within Wood’s songwriting you can hear the musical influences that have been with him from a young age ranging from country to rock.

In his solo acoustic performances, he delivers the passionate energy and storytelling near to that of John Prine and the lyrical hit-home inspired by the works of Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit Gathering inspiration for his original music from his experiences of growing up in a small community and life’s hard lessons, his songs are sure to radiate with those in the audience leaving them to feel as though they may have walked those same country roads right alongside Cody James Wood.

The knack for writing with a longed-for familiarity combined with a strong and soothing voice is what keeps Wood’s audience’s coming back

Welcome back to Homegrown Hideaway for another summer of awesome music in the barn.

Each week a new local artist will grace our ears with their musical stylings.

Doors open at 6:00 pm. Each show will be from 7:oo pm – 9:00 pm with an intermission.

The bar will be stocked with wine, beer and ciders from a variety of local businesses. Keep coming back to sample some of Norfolks finest!
