Hometown for the Holidays - Event by Crafts at the Kiln and Burning Kiln Winery

  • Burning Kiln Winery 1709 Front Road St. Williams, ON, N0E 1P0 Canada (map)

Held at the picturesque Burning Kiln Winery, Crafts at the Kiln is a bi-annual event celebrating the abundance of incredible art, award winning wine, culinary excellence, and musical talent of Norfolk County and surrounding areas. We hold a 2-day indoor and outdoor summer market on the August Civic Holiday weekend, and indoor night and day markets on the last Friday and Saturday of November. For the winter market we also partner with Long Point Eco Adventures across the road and their resident local brewery, Hometown Brew, hence the name “Hometown for the Holidays”.

We encourage shoppers to bring their family and friends, and to come thirsty and hungry! During the summer event, guests can shop handmade till they drop, enjoy our covered “food court”, and then wander the vineyards with a glass of wine, a perfect backdrop for that Instagram worthy shot. Our winter event is held in the Vineyard Pavilion (pictured below). In true Canadian form, we open up the non-heated space, set up multiple patio heaters, dress cozy and warm, and embrace the winter weather. After (or before) shopping, guests can warm up with hot comfort food, a glass of wine or beer, and roast marshmallows on our outdoor bonfire.

All our events are family friendly and wheelchair and stroller accessible, and our summer events are pet friendly in the outdoor area. Please drink responsibly.
