We're here for you during the Pause in Real Estate (and almost everything else)
The world around us is scary right now, there is no doubt about that. Daily government briefings (sometimes twice) from both Provincial and Federal Leaders, Municipal orders, advice from the Officer of Health (and all other Health officials) - everywhere you look and listen we are surrounded by Covid-19. Numbers, statistics, symptoms, uncertainty… it can be overwhelming for us as we try to navigate through what’s expected of us to keep our families and other families like yours safe.
But we are also surrounded by Love.
We are in the business of helping our clients buy and sell real estate, that by definition is the job that we do. Each REALTOR® does it differently - we use different tools, choose different marketing strategies, work for different companies, have our own ways of getting that job done.
But we are more than just salespeople.
We have the distinct honour of forging new relationships each time we work alongside a buyer or a seller. Their concerns, questions, setbacks, goals, dreams, wins, challenges - we share them as we become friends and sometimes almost family.
Right now we are trying to do our part with the skillset we have. We are behind the scenes making calls and emails to keep the home you’ve bought or sold on track for closing. The good news is that Lawyers and the Land Registry Office have been deemed essential so closings should run smoothly (though we absolutely recommend you check in with them and your Mortgage provider). We are suspending listings (other than vacant land) to keep our clients (and the general public) safe. We’ve stopped showings and open houses. We are making sure our systems are in place for when this is all over and we can be together working again, updating information, organizing client needs and files. We keep watch over the market as properties continue to firm up. We ask our clients to communicate their home buying or selling plans in the future so we can be prepared to help.
Because we live in your community, we are your neighbours and we are all in this together.
So we are also here to help bring you groceries, to drop things off for your loved ones who moved closer to us and away from you. We can call, email, text and facebook. We will provide resources or help you find answers to the questions you have.
Please know that we are here for you, as friends are, when there is a time you need to lean on us.
