Joey and Kristine

Today is Closing Day for Joey and Kristine and we couldn’t be more excited for them!

When I received a call from a high school friend of mine a few months ago asking if I would be interested in helping his daughter and her partner find their first home, I was honoured.

We had a great first meeting via Zoom, because 2021, and they were really great at doing their homework. They had already started getting their finances in order by speaking with their Mortgage Broker to find their pre-approval limit, and pretty quickly we were off on the hunt!

Getting their first offer accepted in a market like this is almost unheard of and we prepared them for a long road ahead. It was a surprise to us all that we didn’t have to look very long before we found a fixer upper in the right location with an amazing yard. We were in competition (of course) but they put their best foot forward in negotiations and even agreed to take on extra cleanup, which turned out to be the difference maker. One and done!

We can’t wait to see how they make this house their Home <3
