Braden and Natalie
One of my favourite things to hear is “We are looking for our first home and we’re calling you because (insert friend’s name here) told us that they thought you were awesome!” Natalie and Braden’s friend had been a first time homebuyer with us a couple of years before, and we were grateful for the trust he placed in us when he referred his friends to us.
They were patient with the process, asked great questions, and were quick to respond when I sent them a text about yet another new listing coming up that I thought we just HAD to go see that very night. We made a plan for the offer presentation, moved on it right away and if you can believe it, snuck one in without competing (I’ll take some good luck every now and again)!
We travelled around Norfolk and parts of Haldimand putting in offers, trying to keep their hearts out of the decision making, because budget had to lead the way. It’s a time where you can’t fall in love until after you’ve bought something because there is so much competition.
Turns out sixth time’s a charm! This home will be one they can grow into, and recently they sent me photos of the new paint going up on the walls to make it their own. So exciting!
Best. Job. Ever.
